Husband took in his car this morning to have the windshield wipers looked at. Turns out, he needs a new fuse box under the dash. $588. Fuck! It would be no problem next week, but it's supposed to rain this week. He called around, but everyone said electrical was a dealership problem. No one else will touch it.
Husband went to go pick up the car an pay for the part. so they will order it.
He went and passed the ICND-2 exam today. He is now a Cisco Certified Network Associate. Yeah!
We went to my company party. The food was good. Everyone ate my dessert. Fun was had and then we went to fry's and wandered around before we went to pick up the kids. They had fun. They ate pizza and then drove around looking at christmas lights with my parents.
My Dad got hit again. There was a package from Amazon that was stolen off the porch on Tuesday. He said it was a $175 package. I think a lot of it was my christmas stuff.
I told husband that if we win the lottery I want to go apprentice myself in a custom car shop so I can learn paint and upholstery. He said he'd be fine with me doing that after he was making a little more money and we were stabilized like we are at the moment. Cool! He said he just kind of fell into something he really liked to do and would love for me to do the same. He also suggested I start carrying my sketchbook around. To do art, I need to do art all the time. I think I will start carrying it to work next week.
