Lunar eclipse!
I'm probably silly to be so excited, but I wasn't aware there was supposed to be a lunar eclipse tonight, so I was excited by this event! My son and I stood on the front step together for quite awhile (in the 21 degree Fahrenheit chilly night), watching the moon slowly get covered by the Earth's shadow. All the articles I read said that when the eclipse was full. the viewer should also be able to see Regulus and Saturn on either side of the moon ... but which one was supposed to be on the left (yes, my astronomy is definitely rusty!). I took a photo (yes, I'm a geek) with my digital camera; it only goes up to a 3X zoom, so it's not too bad considering!
