...must end at some point, so here I am, back from home and in Kraków again. Not that anyone should conclude that being in Kraków is a bad thing. Not at all! I have my computer with Linux here *grins*, which is also a lot faster than the one at home (that one is positively archaic but at least it's there and has a working Internet connection. Glass always half full. :D) There's my favourite cinema, away only 15 minutes on foot (and I'm going there on Saturday!), there's the aquapark in the same distance, most of my books are here, my P.O. Box is here... you get the idea :)
The voyage wasn't so bad - it wasn't (very) hot, for instance, and not many people either on the bus or on the train. Not like last time. Still, after you've been travelling for almost 10 hours, it does things to your brain (or at least to mine). When I went shopping after arriving, I forgot to check if I had any coffee left at home and forgot to buy coffee cream! And that happened to a person who doesn't start her day without coffee, and said coffee absolutely has to have cream and sugar! At least I bought some milk, so I could put that into my morning cup :)
I've also had some errands to run today downtown and of course went to the post office to check if any new Postcrossing cards had arrived :) I found three, 2 from the USA and one from Germany, which is actually a card bought in Ireland and shows an endangered species of a butterfly,
the Marsh Fritillary . Very nice. As for the US cards - I like them, too, and have nothing against receiving more, I would only like to receive some from other countries. Right now I have received 26 official Postcrossing cards, and 15(!) have come from the USA! A little diversity, please? Ah well, I know that it's random, and I have received cards from Belgium, Spain, Canada...
I have bought myself an MP3 player today, too!
Nothing fancy but I like it and it did not cost much :)
And I also almost managed to burn my kettle when I came home :) A bottle with mineral water fell down on the switch and turned the kettle on while there was no water inside. Luckily, I noticed immediately and turned it off. It seems to be working...
Something more to be happy about - Polish swimmers have won 3 medals today at European Championships in Budapest, 2 gold and a silver!
