at the jeepney terminal this morning, i was surprised that a new scheme was implemented. it was like this... first, you pay your fare at a booth (actually, it was just a table), then they'll give you a plastic chip (kinda like a chip when playing cardboard games), then before you get on the jeep, you will have to surrender the chip to the dispatcher. they didn't even bother to put signs that there was a new regulation on that transport terminal. they were just pointing to the table where we have to pay. it wasn't like that yesterday. i dunno for how long it will be like that. but i do know, that they were just trying to eliminate the possibilities of the passengers who doesn't pay their fares.
