I make $11 an hour now
and I'm working around 35 hours a week, so I'm making some good money...too bad Alex makes double what I make. And he gets bonuses too...boo. He bought us an awesome 26-inch LCD tv last week. It's beautiful! We want to start buying things slowly that way by the time we get our own place in the fall/january we won't have to buy as much stuff.
Things are getting better at the gas station. He's hired like four people, fired like three, and I think he's really going to improve that place. The workload seems to be getting a lot less hectic. Pretty soon he'll only have to go in the mornings to do the paperwork. I can't wait til he gets recognized for all the work he's put into the store, especially because of the fact that he's so young and the manager before him left it in such crappy condition.
My brother and parents bought a restaurant. We're going to specialize in Mexican and Panamanian cuisine. We open June 3. I'll be waitressing, I think. It should be pretty exciting. I think it'll do great with my brother's experience in the restaurant biz and awesome cooking skills and my mom's added skills. We're having a grand opening, so come by. Once I give you the address of course.
today is officially one month until my 21st birthday...we're all getting so old! Alex will be 22 this year! wth?
