being 'international' sure feels great
So Alex has been playing soccer with some international guys from UNF for a couple Sundays now. He found out about this party a Bosnian girl was throwing at her house, and we decided to take Morales along for the ride...well, he was driving so I guess we went along for the ride. :) Right when we walked in I heard 'there he is', and I knew everything would be great.
I have never been to such an awesome party...There were so many foreign people, and they were so friendly and welcoming and just amazing in general! That's unlike any American party I've ever been to. Europeans know how to party. I met Egyptians, Brazilians, French, some more cute German boys (two who were named Alex!!!), Spaniards, Colombians. Most were exchange students who are only here for a semester. It was awesome to speak Spanish, and to meet people who spoke three, four and five languages.
Oh, and it was really fun when all the guys did the double-kiss thing. I didn't mind that at all. I love how people noticed that I was foreign too! Why, yes I am latin...thanks for noticing! I told my life story like ten times...yes, I'm from Panama, been living her for 17 years, in Jax for 10, speak Spanish fluently, visit Panama fairly often. Alex knew I was in good hands with all the guys...haha! Girls liked my makeup and my earrings, Jean Baptiste said I should extend my makeup further out so I would like 'exquisite' like Cleopatra haha, we're meeting up with one of the German Alex's down in Miami for SB, and now I have a couple friends in my classes! I'm so glad Alex is meeting so many awesome foreign people at UNF. I can't wait to do it again! Morales said he loved it to, and that he is definitely going with us again next time. :) we've got our own little international group all started up haha!
