I've been looking forward to seeing The Island since like four months ago when I first heard about it. I love Ewan McGregor and well, Scarlett Johansson makes me feel like 'becoming' a lesbian. I saw it last night, and it was one of the best movies I've seen in a really long time. The special effects were great, the premise was far out, but somehow believable, and I loved the actors.
I am so excited about tonight because I might be going to The Grotto! My friend Ashley from work is being visited by her bestest friend in the entire world, and she said she would love it if Alex and me came. :) The best part is that she kind of knows a guy that works there, and she said he probably wouldn't even card Alex and me. I'm a big fan of wine and all, so I've been wanting to go to The Grotto for a long time. :)
I can almost not stand the uptight people at work anymore. It is so annoying. Please, fucking live a little. I was telling them about how funny Wedding Crashers was, but that the humor was dirty and all. Then Donnie (17 yr old saint apparently) comes in and rants and raves about how dirty and horrible the jokes were. He also mentioned something about how he would turn his head when there was nudity, and the fact that he would never take his girlfriend to go see that. It's funny because if Alex and me had seen that, we would've been laughing our asses off. I'm sorry, but I hate it when people feel the need to be so modest, plain, and just so prude because of religion. So you can't even joke around or anything. I guess God doesn't like the fact that I have a good sense of humor then... :/ I mean, the office is a good time and all, but it's like Ashley and me have conformed to the likes of Donnie, Angie and Kristina because they are really, really, really conservative. What makes them right and us wrong? I'm starting not to care, and I think it's showing because Kristina seemed kind of attitudy towards me the other day. Oh, and there was a benefits meeting the other day, and everyone was dresed up as if it was something special. Oh, I forgot that there are like seven people in the office and we're going to be sitting down with half of our body hidden. I like to dress up (but since I knew everyone else would, I didn't), and then Donnie comes over and is all like 'You're dressed like you always dress' and I was like 'yeah, I don't see a reason to dress up. When there's a reason to, I will'. Fucking little 17-yr old trying to preach to me. People just need to mind there own fucking business. I'm an adult, you just graduated high school. Please!!! This is getting really long, so I'll just rant and rave about the crappiness in the office some other time...
OOH! Our office is going to The Suns game next Friday! We each get to bring a guest, and it was totally paid for by the company! I'm excited because it will be nice to be in an outside setting other than the office where I won't be struggling to breathe because of the conservatives sucking in all the air. I'm just joking!
