Fuck the South god, there's so much unecessary animosity. i could respond to that rant.
i hate everyone. no one is logical any more. no one makes any sense. everyone's got their panties in a twist because of everyone else. even this guy, and i understand why he wrote this, is ignoring facts in order to rant.
say, let's take the texas redistricting mess of 2000. whatever. no one wants to hear it anyways, because no one wants to listen to anyone else. everyone wants to rant. i blame it on the blog. unfettered access to immediate publication is unfettered access to a whole lot of people at their least rational. no one wants to solve problems. everyone wants to be right. what about the fucking society? what about the fucking laws? what about the people? i always thought this country was about giving everyone a chance to be the exception to the rule if they decided to, but obviously it's just about bickering. everyone is wrong, and everyone is an asshole. all the conservatives are too busy being wrong to have any sane criticism of the opinions expressed in that rant, which condones (because it doesn't censure, and many people agree) thinking emotionally about politics. he is right, but what exactly about? in political ideology and law, it doesn't just matter that you're right. it matters how you're right.
on another note, check out the fuck christmas link on that page.
