Please do :D

Man, I'm starting to feel like I'm the only one who hocked her SNES to get more games. I suck. I hope yours feels better soon, though.

Hahaha, my first screen name was DeLIRiUM dIRgE. It took waaaay too long to be properly embarrassed about that. I'm still stuck with "thedirge" as my e-mail, too.

I didn't get into RPGs until I was older, but I did get stuck for a looong time at Vargas in FF3. Same problem?

Making stupid things into a game within a game was and is AWESOME. A game you can screw around in is a happy game indeed. I remember with the first Smash Brothers game, I threw a Jigglypuff tea party in Practice, only the guests kept getting blown the heck up. It was so cool :D (And as a side note, have you ever played Harvest Moon? Sounds like you'd like it :B)

I actually have a long rationalizations about why I have my phobia (hint: THIS DID NOT HELP), but it doesn't belong in the middle of a screencap adventure. I'm also phobic of whales ( ... )

Huh, SSB is probably the only game I didn't screw around in (I so should've... jigglypuff tea parties sound right up my kid-brain's alley). And yup! I've played Harvest Moon! I've played the n64, snes and... the first gamecube version. I didn't like the GC one, but I loved the other two a bit too much. (For some reason, I've never wanted to be a girl in the games. Repressed lesbian urges? The world may never know ( ... )

Nothing's ever quite compared to the N64 version for me. I spent so many happy hours with that game and its typos and its crazy glitches. Ever notice that weird space by Karen's farm where you can walk straight off the map? It's awesome :D

The elephant graveyard in The Lion King didn't help either, really. And yeah, it's Fantasia. Creepy sequence, man. And urgh, you are at an unfortunate disadvantage in that regard. Makes me glad people can't randomly whip out elephant skulls at me.

Yeah, I can see that. I just couldn't help but think of it, probably because it creeps me out for totally different reasons. Ub Iwerks work is sheer Hell in such a fascinating manner.

Aw, I know how you feel. You can make a lot of friends online who love games, though, and that's definitely helpful :D

Ahh, that brings me back. Secret of Evermore was a good game..

I was a big fan of Secret of Mana series though, I was amused by Seiken Densetsu 3 the most. Multi-classes and such *drools*.

Anyways, very nice screencaps and commentaries. It was refreshing.

You know, I tried to get into Seiken Densetsu 3, but I was worried about how to start. Multiple paths intimidate me. From what little I played, though, I remember it being quite enjoyable. I liked the kind of dusty look to the colors.

Everytime I read this, my mind reads "Fire Crotch" instead of Fire Eyes.

I bet it's true.

Oh, God yes. Showering with pond scum will do that to you. Not that Matt's ever gonna get the chance to see firsthand, mind. Fire Eyes and Ice Cold Pussy.

Oh geez. Thirty levels? Wow.

Reminds me of the time my brother saved over my Kingdom Hearts savestate. I lost about ten hours there. :(

But man. I think you got it worse n' I did.

Excellent commentary, though!

Thirty or twenty. To be honest, I can't remember the numerical details. I just know it took FOREVER and I was insta-killing bosses left and right afterwards.

Aw, man, I'm sorry about your game. Losing data sucks SO HARD. I can pretty much guarantee that any gamer that plays Eternal Darkness, even if they know it's coming, will feel some part of their anatomy contract wildly at the "Formatting memory card..." hallucination. I know I was and I did. IT'S HARD-WIRED INTO US.

I think I made up for it by being lucky in another RPG--my Lufia II cartridge slowly and chronically devoured savegames, but only the ones left behind from its rental days. I think I lost a couple spares or double-saves, but I never lost my main file. Very particular about the lower-right slot for some reason. It must've has'd a flavr.

Thanks! I'm a lapsed GAFFer, so I worry I overdo it sometimes. If I ever get too wordy, y'all are free to tell me to shut up :D
