Ahh, the end of the cold......
So, I am not lung hacking any longer. The chest cold is gone. Now I have that relentless sniffle that , if left unchecked, would make me look like a trailer baby...especially in a white T-shirt...You know those kids...
Sit in front yard, dirty stained tshirt, diaper...snot running down the nose...somewhere, a dog tied to something.
ok, I digress.
I am feeling much better. I am stillllllll job hunting and I hope something comes up soon. I am sure it will. I rewrote my resume and totally changed the format. I like it much more and it all fits on one page.
I met with a friend yesterday for coffee. That turned into Dart throwing at a pub. Then Kerri met us at Venus de Milo(sp?) for wine. Then we went to a sports bar and had THE best little appetizer...Shrimp, wrapped in crab meat, then wrapped in bacon. I haven't had bacon in so long...WOW.
Ok, then after dinner there, I went on to Blaines and met up with some of my new friends. I played some pool ( a VERY decent game for me), then we drank , and they convinced me to go to another gay bar, Chucks. I left my damn card at the bar at Blaines and no one would let me go back. They insisted on buying me beers. I graciously accepted. THEN it's back to Blaines for more beer and pool. I had those late night munchies and tried a second time to go to Krystal for just one little Krystal chick. It's a guilty pleasure that I haven't had in a while. AGAIN, there was a line of one. one person who couldn't figure out what the hell she wanted. I wanted to kill. I MUST get accustomed to things being slower here. So, I didn't eat fast food after drinking...Life moves on.
OH, I haven't smoked since Saturday. Even after hanging out with a smoker all day yesterday and then bar hopping. I will admit, i ripped off the patch and tried to light one. I coughed and threw it away. Lesson learned.
