ARGH.
Trying out for a pirate movie...
People at work are trying to drive me insane. I am certain of this. I ask for shit well in advance, they say they are done...Then three days after a deadline, I get tons of new paperwork that MUST be filled in right away so someone can get paid. If my boss knew that I always do this rather than telling someone to fuck off, she'd be upset. I'd rather be stressed than see someone go without a paycheck because his manager is a badly organized asshole. But, there are limitations to what begging I can do to payroll to literally stop the presses.
On the plus side...
I got a new type of contact lens, and I have to say, $10 a box extra is WELL worth the difference. I am amazed. My eyes don't dry out and I don't notice they are there. My correction isn't enough that I am a candidate for Lasik, so I am stuck with these fuckers till a better surgery comes along. At least they are comfortable now. I spent a whole night out partying in them , smoking, in a smoky bar and only had to put drops in once. Awesome product. My boss is trying to get me to come back as a temp worker for 3 days a week till I find something permanent in Savannah. I am considering it as long as it pays enough for gas. I have a friend that asked me to stay with him, but I know we'd never get any sleep...LOL. He was the bruising, all-nighter from before. WOW, that was the hottest sex ever. Well it was up there. There's something to be said for making love, which is totally different.
I have almost all my stuff packed up now. I need to contact a storage facility and start taking shit over to it. I won't move my stuff down to Georgia till I am in my own place. My friend Joshua gave me some beautiful antique pieces. Total value of pieces, close to $2000. He just doesn't have the room in his new home. I was floored.
OH, and why now, that I am leaving, do I keep meeting HOT HOT guys? LOL, just my fuckin luck. It's a good feeling I suppose, accompanied with bad timing.
