Well, at least it will make for super floral showing if the rain keeps up like this. I woke up without the alarm clock again at 5am and I wasn't scheduling a workout for the morning. I watched the Pope's funeral. It was beautiful and touching, whether or not you are a believer in everything he said.
So, I ate toaster waffles (like communion wafers, only larger) with light butter, yum. My hair is cut and I had another tan applied last night. The woman doing the tan was pointing out exactly where my definition was coming through (that it wasn't before, and she said my back is looking awesome)---I had been working on back exercises, but I really just hadn't been able to see it. So, I am going to keep up the good work. With a physical in 2 weeks, I remain watching what I eat and limiting animal fats and cholesterol. I did drink some beers (with the doctor's permission to have one once in a while---4 though, lol) last night at the local bar near my old home. It was fun chatting with Lori, one of THE most beautiful women in the world. She made me feel better about a lot of stuff. I also was invited to sit with Mark's coworker, which was odd at first, but Gary is such a great guy that he totally made me forget our connection and was just interested in me and what I have been up to. I want to walk a dog in the SPA walkathon in May, maybe he will let me walk his. I can't be walking any small dogs now, it's gotta be a big one--lol.
My upper body workout was rushed and incomplete yesterday. The gym was FULL and it was hard to do anything. I will stick to early morning as much as possible and then perhaps running in the afternoon. My legs are still sore today and the parts of my upper body and back that I worked out yesterday are a tad bit sore...(BIG SMILES)...IT'S GETTING THERE!!
I can't wait to be able to take my shirt off in public and not be ashamed. It will be the first time in my entire life. Why I waited so long? I dunno, but now it's time. This is it folks!
