I met a man who wasn't there.

Not wholly sure why I'm bothering to update, but had my second of three exams today; Hamlet and adaptation of texts.
The Hamlet questions was actually really decent - either the closest scene (Act IV scene 3 that is) on Hamlet's emotions towards his mother, or something from he Graveyard scene (Act V scene 1) and about death and decay. I chose the first, and I'm quietly confident. Was quite surprised that I wrote so much for the 45 minutes you generally have to get everything down in (or risk running out of time for the other two questions) so fingers crossed and all. Got quite a lot of little quotes in which is always good, just never sure if I get the whole language analysis balance alright, but still, we'll see!
The second question was to write a short article on Shakespeare's language. Bastards. Usually it's something relatively dull like...cycling, but no! Shakespeare (which almost turned in Skatespeare a few times) but it was ok. I don't hold up much hope about it o be honest, because it was well, boring quite frankly, but I did actually almost learn a few things (that I'll have forgotten yesterday, I promise you). I did also get some awfully bad puns in, which I'm also quietly pleased about - I can just hope the examiner finds it amusing.
As for the last bit, let's not get into the comparative commentary; I hate it D: by that point I'm about ready to tell them to give me the marks anyway and lie down on the floor. I just can't get my head around it, but thankfully that's the last I'll ever have to do. HAHA.
But seriously I will miss English. I've started to really appreciate it, and understand Shakespeare much to my amazement and all that jazz. Not that I want to endlessly stuff my brain full of any more of Leech's continuum or and more of the many mind boggling theories some people come up with (even if I have to for the sake of passing next week, but).
Anywho.

Other than that life has been pretty dull. Been a bit up and down some days, but really it's all ok. Still haven't heard back from bath about changing my interview for the BTEC, but I'll call them about that I guess. Portfolio is slowly coming together, although it's going to be a bit patchy. Need new earphones too because these ones have almost sung their last (groan), and it’s just started to rain. Glad I avoided that earlier.
If I had anything else to say it's gone, so over and out! <3
