Easter
So let me get this straight:
God stood by and watched his only son be abused and killed. Doing nothing while this happened. He must have grieved because 3 days later he brought him back to life. Then he took his son to his side.
Now I am supposed to celebrate this!
He stood by as my child, sweet, innocent and only 8 years old got sick and died. He has stood by and watched me grieve, watched my family grieve. Where is my
resurrection? Where is my hope? Where is the answer to my prayers?
I do not believe that there is such a god. I do not believe that there is an all powerful being that has control and influence over us here on earth. What happens beyond I do not know. But here there is no entity that can help us,
Faith in god and the strength it brings to some is no different than the the boost a star or athlete gets from confidence.
