Heather went in today. I paniked. Why? not anger not hurt panic

is changing her room like erasing her?

Is fixing a sink she helped break erasing her?

the memory is fading. The sound of her voice is fading.

I'm afraid it will be lost.

Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. Can someone be erased.? What would it take. How complete would it have to be?

I know I'm not in a position to say this, so please do not be angered, but I don't think changing her room is erasing your daughter. I don't think saving her room exactly as it is is going to bring you any comfort. I think it might actually be hindering your ability to move on. I mean, I know you don't really want to move on. I don't. So I can't imagine you do either. But it's necessary, so I've been told.

As for the fading... yes, is all I have to say. And it's painful. But you are strong. She will never leave you.
