No, I'm not a huge basketball fan, but I'm so proud of my Gators :)
There's no feeling like seeing your team, your school being featured in pre-game sensationalized stories. When ESPN flashes up those jerseys then shoots to Joakim Noah beating on his chest like the African Viking he is, it's euphoric.
It reminds me of my first football game in The Swamp as a true UF Student. I had been (probably) hundreds of times and never felt the feeling in my heart that I did at the moment they showed "the" Gator on the jumbo-tron. Seeing the male cheerleaders run out with the Florida flags followed by the team brought tears to my eyes.
Simply put, I'm going to miss this school after I leave. But the spirit of being a true Florida Gator will live in me until I die.
