And So Are the Gays of Our Lives...
So, yesterday...who could possibly complain about yesterday? A whole day with my beautiful girlfriend. *sigh*
Woke up yesterday to some terrific coffee (which i've reheated this morning. Is that wrong?) and played a little on LJ. Then we got Vegas and took him around Five-Points walking. He LOVES to walk around Southside. He's such a chick magnet! We had some more coffee at Joe Muggs and from there went to the doggie park on Highland to let him socialize with the other pups.
Vegas is such a little snob.
We're gonna try to take him to that park more often to get him socialized.
After dropping Vegas off at his grandma's for babysitting, Gray and i hit the town! We had dinner at the Lakeview Oyster House (yum!), saw Guster and Graham Colten Band at Workplay, hit the kareoke mic at 729, and then soaked in the drag show at the Quest. And who doesn't go to Waffle House after the Quest?
unfortunately, i tried to step my foot in a big pile of shit at the Quest, but decided not to mess up my shoes. Next time i won't be so nice.
So, now it's off to work in, oh, 3 hours. Blah. i've been off for like a week. I DON'T WANNA GO! Yeah, well. Shit happens. ;)
