Personally I'm of the opinion that Sylar knew EXACTLY what was going on the whole time; he was playing dumb, saying things that would arouse suspicion... He's a smart guy, after all, and being around Peter for so long, not to mention just sitting around in his place, he has plenty of time to consider where their relationship is going. :P

Maybe he should have just hugged Peter instead. We know Peter likes that... LOL

I enjoyed this a lot.
You got your characters down really well.
My favorite parts was Sylar offering a do-over (hereby placing Hiro in a very awkward position) and Peter placing the blame on Sylar. I liked Sylar's tone of 'oh, that's just too darn bad. Shucks. Whoopsie!' at TOGETHER LIKE *THAT* I adored the heck out of socially faking-dumb Sylar--'wha-at? I didn't know it was a secret.' and 'Oh, did I eavesdrop on you? I know that's wrong. Huh, funny thing, that.' It leaves Peter off-balance (which is a great place for him to be because his reactions are so darn funny) and you get great play off him that way.

Yes, exactly. Sylar is smart, knows how to play - and how to play Peter (although I'm sure poor Peter should by now have learned how to deal with that, being a Petrelli). But he always falls for the hugs too... LOL

We'll see if Peter's still pissed about this whole thing later when I write another part XD

Mohinder is one of those conflicted heroes... but maybe he'll come around in the end.

Peter's not exactly in denial, as much as he's in shock XD
