Beautiful sequel to “Deep Sleep" which I loved so. First of all, I was honestly glad to see that Peter had somewhat got over his depression and mind-numbing desperation at last. I was relieved to see that he had a bit regained his spirit, and found some motivation to carry on in this apocalyptic world. Regarding his failure to fix the tragic past, I am really sorry for him lamenting his brother's death. I am sad, too.

This ending was an utterly unexpected one for me. Especially about Sylar and Peter's mutual feelings for each other, I'm still uncertain. Could there be a kind of comradeship between them? Could Peter get over his deep hatred towards Sylar? Could it be possible for him to forgive the person who murdered his beloved brother mercilessly? But it seemed like both of them had agreed that this island could be a paradise for them. Although it was somehow cryptic, I love this conclusion. I think Peter finally saw the light, not the darkness, and regained the will to carry on.

Thanks so much for sharing this magnificent story with us. I absolutely loved it. And look forward to more from you.^^

Glad you liked!

Indeed, there was still a lot for Peter to feel depressed and sad about... but I guess there's a limit how much one can do that. Things are as they are, he couldn't change it, and thus he had the option to make the best of it - or keep falling further into depression, which really didn't work.

He and Sylar are also on their own, in a way. All the other people were like from a different world entirely. Eventually the animosity is bound to give way to something else. What exactly, it will be seen in the final part of this series, "Shattered Eden".
