I like my ortho. I really do. He's good and tells me straight up what's going on.
Seems that my big toe isn't just broken lengthwise of the bone - it is also broken across - BASICALLY the fracture makes a lovely cross right under my nail. He also said I was extremely lucky I hadn't sheered off the tip of my toe. Then he drilled two holes in my toe nail to release the pressure.
