(no subject)
Toronto trip was good. So good, in fact, I'm going back tomorrow, just for the night. I have a job interview at 3 pm on Wendesday & I'm going to an open house at 6. Tomorrow I'm going to hand out resumes at little places here & there ("normal" jobs I guess) and then maybe go look at apartments with Tina. Maybe not. After all that I'm going to buy Natassja a nice dinner.
Tina & I were thinking of getting a house with 2 of her old roommates, but they found an apartment they liked so they went with that & we went back to looking for a 2-bedroom apartment for ourselves. Now another 2 of her friends want to share a house with us... I know the guys, and I get along with them, but I don't know them really well & I don't know if I would want to live with them. They're nice enough dudes and all... I dunno though.
Also, last night I had the pleasure of helping make dinner with Nat and her mom. That was really fun. I feel appreciated at her house, her little brother is a cute little guy and her mom is very friendly and seems to enjoy my company. She's been really supportive of me and full of advice for the move, which is great... because I need the help, and because it is good for my girlfriend's mom to like me. She bought some steaks & some portabella mushrooms (I had mentioned how much I like cooking them offhand one day to Nat & word got around) then Nat & I went to the grocery store and got potatoes, beans, cheese, and a tomato. Delicious. Garlic and butter pervaded the meal.
The BBQ was a lot of fun, I had a great time. Food, beer, soccer, repeat.
