Long Time
Yeah its been a while since I posted last. Oh well I have several good reasons. For a month and a half I was working 40 hour work weeks working construction over in Emerald Isle on this house. I even worked 55 hours one week. Now I'm very lazy and had never worked more then 20 hours in a week before this job. To top it off my boss was a moron and he tried to use big words to sound smart and I think try to intimidate me but it didn't work since I probably knew what the words he was using meant better then he did. I did learn a hell of a lot about construction and probably could build decks for a living (I helped build every single deck on this house. They are made out of Epe, a Brazilian walnut rainforest wood that costs $26/foot.). I'd rather finish college and get a job that makes more money though. Hopefully one that's less strenuous.
The house has been done for a week now, so I've been jobless for a week. I'm also money less now too since I plunked the rest of my money into a new cell phone (with an NC number) and then paying H-SC money that's owed to them. I'm probably gonna get a job working at the putt putt place across the street and work there til the end of the summer.
After the job was finished and I finally had some free time, I was unable to get online since we had problems wit our phone line. So I decided to run a phone line into my room and wire up a jack so now I can use my computer to sign up for the internet whenever the phones got fixed which was two days ago.
I also wanna try to get up to DE one more time this summer although I don't know if I can because I need to make some money for school and I have to get one of my wisdom teeth taken out the week before I go back to school. Packing for school will sure be fun that week Maybe I'll just go back sometime during school when I'm closer. A 6 hour drive is a lot better then a 10 hour drive.
Oh well. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what the rest of the summer holds for me since so far its been all work and no play.
