Would you be interested in a GFM DV-150 3 n 1 Digital eBook Reader that also handled movies? No, of course not. You’d say “Book reader? That’s too small! That tiny screen? I’m already grumpy! I don’t care that it can take 1GB cards! I want to punch a baby!” and the product would fail.
But call it a GFM DV-150 3 n 1 Digital Movie Camera that also handles eBooks, and suddenly, you’re interested. “Wow, a tiny camera? That plays MP3s too? And there’s a tripod scoket and 64 MB of built in memory, plus the expansion slot? It works well in low light? AND I can read a book on it? Aw! Give me that poor kicked baby! I want to give it a scholarship!”
See? A little kid gets a good education, all because of the power of proper marketing. And isn’t that something we can all get behind? Now buy the damn camera.
