Well, 'ello folks!

Things are going good here - lots of work, and lots of... well, not much else I suppose. I canceled my work trip to Oklahoma in attempt to take a small vacation. The last day I've had off was not last Sunday, but the Sunday before. While I don't mind working... I do like sleeping in...

So my love for sleeping in and I decided to take revenge. Because if we don't, I'll still be the same neurotic half-crazed woman standing in the middle of a construction site trying to compare numbers to actual design, find which dampers need to be closed or open, or if the fan needs to be speeded up or down, and pray that I won't have to crawl underneath the floors again. All while talking to my co-worker about the joy of music.

Actually, the neurotic part may never go away. ;)

Currently I'm working on Puget Sound Energy new building which is inbetween Mt. Vernon and Bellingham. PSE is aiming for a LEED certification, and they seem to be doing a decent job. I must get a photo of their Air Handling Unit for you guys. It's so large, that I can sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee on the motor. Not that I've attempted that. But it's a good hiding place for when I need to do math.

It seems as if there's enough projects at work to keep me busy sometime after Thanksgiving... So traveling and whatnot may not happen before then. (Sorry Matan, I'm really trying to see you in 'Couver)

In knitting news: I've finished a pair of socks and a scarf semi-recently, and now I'm tempted to knit this:

(I'm too lazy to save and put the photo in photobucket and then link it here. And randomly, the link thing isn't working. So, copy and paste! It's cute)

It'll be my first color-stranding-thing project!
