(no subject)
work wasnt very fun tonight. but lauren was on!! i love that. all the other managers make me miserable lol
it was such a mess by the time i got there at 4. four people called in in the morning..so they didnt get any time to recover..and the store was insanely busy. i had 60/80 to recover (all the home shit...towls, pans, random shit to decorate your house) and of course the only things in that department that everyone hates is a disaster. that would be the last isle, and the one before it. the last is clearence...which has so much shit..and most of it was on the floor..plus the thing is a mess all the time. then the other was rugs. theyre so fucking heavy, and when one person wants to look at one rug, they all have to come down. so at least 2/3 of the rugs are either all on the floor or practlicly off. so no what i did? i took all the damn things off. and i folded them all. and i put them neatly on the shelves. cause they were ugly as hell and if i just pushed them in their place, you know they would have been back on that floor with in the hour. so after spending at LEAST 45 minutes on that..i moved to clearence. with all the completely random shit. from towels to place ments to RUGS and pot holders and sheets and comforters and baskets..the whole deal. and again, it was all in one massive pile on the floor..ive never seen so much shit on the floor before..and no exaduration. so i did the same thing as i did with the rugs. and let me tell you, it was pretty damn pretty when i was done an hour later. i should get mad stars for that one.
anyway. that was my night...shitty. so i woke up alone at 7 for psats...then took the 3 hour test alone...and then went home to an empty house and ate lunch and took a nap...then once i woke up showered and got ready for work my rents came home and made dinner at 330 (very early) then i went to work. then swung by friendlys to pick me up something with peanutbutter and came home to an emptly house where i ate my icecream and went online. i'm so lonely.
the sox are losing by 7 and its the top of the 7th...this is not good...but i'll attempt to be optimistic
