Spinach Dip
Good warm or cold (better warm).

  • Round load of bread
  • 2 (8oz) pkg cream cheese
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 tsp dill weed
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1 (10oz) pkg spinach

Carniverous version:
  • 1/2 cup bacon bits

Hollow out the bread. Mix ingredients well (use your hands); put into hollowed out bread. Wrap in foil; bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour.

Serve with the scooped out bread and crackers.

For those who ate my spinach dip, it was made slightly differently. I had no bread, so I used a pie tin covered with tin foil. Since the bread didn't have to get crispy (being that there was none), I just left it in the oven for 25 minutes and checked it, and then another 15 after that.

For a healthier option, I also used light cream cheese (38% less fat) and light mayonnaise. I also once used rice cheese instead of the dairy-infused cheese just because we had some, and that worked well and tasted great, and it's good for you!
