Murder in the New Year
New Years day my neighbors were found dead in their basement. A family of 4 including two little girls: Stella, 9, and her sister, Ruby, was 4. Her mom is a co-owner of World of Mirth in Carytown. They were found just before 2pm. Their friends showed up for a New Years day party and found the house on fire. The entire family was tied up in the basement. Their throats had been slit. There have been numerous other rumors.. including one about additional injuries besides the throat. I have a sick feeling it might be rape. This whole ordeal has got me rethinking about my opinions on the death penalty.
Tonight was the candlelight vigil in our neighborhood. Even right now I can look out my bedroom window and still see lit candles in front of the house.
