Silent treatment
“Taemin! Could you stop ignoring me?”
The boy studiously avoided his gaze.
Something in him snapped. He regretted the rough manner in which he grabbed the boy by his shoulders and shook him.
“Stop. Ignoring. Me.”
Still, the boy kept his silence. The more Minho looked at him, the harder he stared at the floor, as though intent on burning a hole through them.
“Why, Min? Why can’t you talk to me? Why this silent treatment? What happened?” He pleaded. “What did I do? Why won’t you talk to me? Why won’t you even look at me anymore? What did I do wrong? Just tell me. I’ll change. Don’t do this to me. I can’t bear it!”
He sounded so broken, so unlike himself, unlike the confident, Flaming Charisma the boy knew better than anyone else in the world.
But he couldn’t hear his own voice as he watched tears falling from the boy’s bowed head. He saw how each individual tear drop fell, almost vertically. He swore he could hear each splash as they made contact with the wooden floor. But he couldn’t see those beautiful brown eyes, bashfully hidden by the curtain of soft, dirty blonde fringe.
Gently, he reached to tip the boy’s chin.
The slightest bit of resistance, and he swore he would stop. He would let go, and never broach the matter again.
He didn’t want to cause the boy more hurt than he was already experiencing.
Instead, the boy looked up at him. He saw the pale lips, the huge eyes, the tears which welled up and threatened to spill over again, and the apologetic, stabbing pain written all over that beautiful, boyish face.
He delighted in hearing that soft voice again. Yet, the words froze his heart.
“H-hyung, because… because if I talk to you, I’m afraid - afraid I will fall in love with you all over again.”

simple, short drabble which i typed out ages ago. i kind of have a rough idea as to the background to this and what happens after. *giggle* i think some people *coughblack_wind123cough* may be interested in what happens after. or not.
this was written a long time ago and intended to be posted when there's an inspiration-drought. but i decided to post this today before going home to finishing preparing for lessons and leaving for the weekend. things are starting to get a LITTLE better. and i'll be going home soon. so maybe, just maybe, more frequent updates? im hoping to start on the new series soon. so until thenn...... MUCH LOVE! =)

p.p.s: i've updated with another one-shot/drabble. another fandom but.. i would love any comments/critique if you guys happen to be interested in it as well. =)
