I'll take "Day That Sucked" for $400, Alex.

Okay, so most of the suck came from the fact that I was on campus for over 14 hours (both working for the Center and grading), then came home to do more grading. Which still isn't done.

I have had it with this damn upper respiratory crap. It can't decide if it's sinus, chest, or gone. And in the meantime, I'm still easily winded, have the occasional painful cough, and have an earache and throat ache that, while not as severe as they were, just aren't going away. I have to fly out on Thursday, and I really need to have the ears pain-free by then. So I need to know what I can do, because I've done antibiotics too recently to do it again, and OTC decongestants aren't knocking it down. Hell, I can't do transcriptions in the office because the earbuds make the pain worse.

...not that I'm complaining much. The transcribing is excruciating if for the sole reason that I don't understand the material I'm transcribing. I may as well be writing in Greek or Latin some days.

In looking at the time, I really need to get to bed, because at 6am, I get to start the whole thing over again. Grading until 8, then work until 4, then grading until my ride gets me (5:30 or so), then errands and laundry, then homework, then more grading. Oh, and, you know, packing and prepping my competition materials at some point in there as well.

Good night. Or morning, as the case seems to be.
