everybody knows
Man with a Moviecamera. It's classic.
everybody has heard about
Kino-Eye. It's also classic, but it's harder to find.
Because I've become crazy about Dziga Vertov's films I also have seen
Three Songs about Lenin,
Enthusiasm: Donbass Symphony,
The Eleventh Year. More than that, I found one of the Kino-Pravda series.
But today I saw another one his film which is not listed at imdb, wiki and other sites. It's called Moscow (1927)
Gorgeous film. It's like Man with a Moviecamera (I suppose many scenes, ideas and methoda from "Moscow" were used in Man with... two years after). And it's more interesting for me, because there are hundred scenes of Moscow streets with every place being titled and noted. So it's amazing to see how many Moscow places looked 80 years ago.
ps Hmmm, I found
bibliography for LEF (soviet magazine in 1920s) and found there that that movie that i saw today was filmed not by Dziga but by his brother Michael. He was also a director for another pretty movie
In Spring, which I recommend to find and to see for everyone, because it was an answer of Michael to his brother's Man with a Moviecamera.
A short video for you not be bored by this text that you probably are not goinf to read.

ps I feel like I'm the only person at my course who knows who is Dziga Vertov. What a shame... it's our specialisation by the way!
