The FIRST thing I'm doing when I get home is taking a HOT SHOWER
Well, the weather is finally cooling down and making way for the fall. I dont know what my roomates and I are going to do when it REALLY gets cold, because there is no heat in our apartment and no hot water, so showers will have to be quicker than they already are. That's okay, but you know how cold you get when you get out of the shower? I hate that feeling.
I blowdried my hair for the first time since I left for Italy!!! Oh I miss it so much. Sadie keeps reassuring me that if you let your hair air dry, it makes your hair healthier. But if healthy hair means having grodiness texture and pnemonia, then I dont want it. Hand me the blowdryer PLEASE.
I got Vori's third letter today! Thank you Vori for keeping up with me! Your letters make my week! I cant wait to show it to my roomates!!
So I dont have class today and I didnt have class yesterday because my teacher was sick. This is OK but what is not OK is having a makeup class next FRIDAY or SATURDAY. Na-uh. I wont do it. I'll skip if I have to because NOTHING will stand in between me and my Sicily.
Going to Rome tomorrow. I dont care what we see (well I do, but you know) as long as I get to see Bernini's St. Teresa in Ecstasy statue locate in one of the zillions of St. Maria churches. I really should be working in my bookmaking midterm. What should I do? I've only learned how to bind a book and to do Japanese bookbinding *favorite!!* If you were a sculpture major and you had to make a book sculptural, what would YOU do?
Every week my goal is to visit a museum/chapel. Last week I went to the academia and saw the Michalangelo David. It was really big!! It's so hard to tell how big it is in the pictures cuz there arent any people around it to compare it to. And today I went to the Bargello Museum where Donatello's David is located. That wasnt as big as I thought it was. It was cute tho. I want one.
Dont YOU wanna Fanta? Cuz I sure as hell do. I never liked Fanta till I got here and now I crave it like crazy. Goes so well with...well...everything. ESPECIALLY Doner Kebabs.
Hmm...oh yeah!! And my study abroad coordinator from Winthrop is coming to Italy to visit the 4 of us studying abroad here!!! I'm so excited! I cant wait to see her ^o^
