Our Lady of Prompt Succor
I miss Clearly Canadian Sparkling Water in glass bottles. I don't know what happened, but I wish I could find some. Sarahp gave me the series box set of Seinfeld, and nothing has ever made me so hap-hap-happy. Good goodness, I'm a total Seinfeld junkie.
In other good news, I finally attained a well-paying job. I am the new bookkeeper for Ursuline Convent and the Shrine of Our Lady of Prompt Succor. It is the oldest operating convent/catholic all-girls school in the United States. I have an office in the convent, and I manage the books and bank accounts for 12 nuns. They are so unbelievably cute. They pay ridiculously well. I only have to be there 15-25 hours a week, depending on how much accounting needs to be done (tax season, week of payroll, heavy donation intake, etc). I start in a week or so. I am very excited.
Tonight I am going to Mimi's in the Marigny with Big D and Todd Mathers. Tomorrow I am going to the circus. I'm spending most of the day wondering how I will pay my bills before I get paid.
