Tempest left Anteros, feeling rather guilty that she'd flipped out. It wasn't that she meant to, she just did. She really really did want to help him forget, help him get over whatever her name was that had hurt him so bad, but if she was honest (which she rarely was, to herself anyway) then she wasn't feeling so spiffy either. Sure, Tempest hadn't ( Read more... )

In here, Doll...

Dite lay on a massage table, glancing upward as she felt Peitho enter her home. It didn't take more then a look to see something was up, really, so she waved away her attendant and sat up, typing a towel around her, and offering the goddess a bright smile

Wine?

She waved her hand, a small tray of wine and fruit appearing on a nearby table

Peitho, really... the Valley Girl thing is over, and so very unbecoming. As for Anteros, he's going through a difficult thing right now. He wouldn't be who he is if he wasn't having a rough time of it. But calling someone else's name is rather offensive, I assume, though I'm shocked he cared one way or the other. Who's name did you call?

Drink your wine slower, or it will go to your head.

Aphrodite watched calmly even as she spoke, offering no real reaction or expression save drollness

Tempest frowned. Valley girl? Since when did she sound like a valley girl? She was sure she didn't.

"Go to my head?! Maybe in the past but I'm like over that," she said, taking a smaller sip this time "I'm so more tolerant. I mean, I hardly get drunk....often."

Valley girl?! Yeah right.

"And it's not like I meant to say anything you know. I've been feeling a little off lately, I guess it's that. But it was a total accident, honest."

She took another slow, small sip of wine. Dite did have a point on that one. More tolerant or not, she really hadn't broken the habit of doing stupid things when drunk just yet.

She sighed. "I can't tell you who I said. I kinda...have a thing for him..."
