Flidais appears at the doorway of
brighid_dot_com's forge in the same cloud of green that was left behind when she left Harmonia's temple. She's changed her outfit again, gone are the jeans and sneakers in their place is a brilliant green summer gown embossed with gold accents. Her hair is tame also now, pulled back into one long braid and tied off with a gold

You are right Brighid, it seems that everyone is all to willing to resort to violence to solve things of late.
reaches and takes Brighid's hand gently with her own.
I don't think I've feared death in ages, it's always been an accepted part of the natural progression of everything. I fear what will become of my friends and what will happen to the delicate balance amongst all the deities here in the Pantheon. I fear that unknown that is looming in everyone's future and I don't understand what set this ball rolling. It was peaceful here when I departed, then out of seemingly nowhere Isis and Zeus battled.
pauses, as the proverbiallly lightbulb goes off in her head
Their history aside what did he do to garner such a reaction from Isis?
Doesn't know Isis or Zeus personally but from everything she's heard and read she can't fathom Isis provoking Zeus. Yet she can definitely see Zeus provoking the Egyptian Goddess. As her mind churns she remembers something Clotho had told her at the club.
Also, who's the redheaded Greek?
Looks at Brighid expectantly wondering if she has the answers to fill in the blanks of what happened while she was gone.

"The redheaded Greek? Well, that sounds like TweedleDiscord and TweedleConfusion to me. Eris and Enyo. And it's in my mind that were we to turn over the great, hulking rock that is Zeus's attitude problem, we'd find the pair of them lurking beneath it. What's been going on about here is really just about perfectly their style."
Now, however, the smile is fading, and a dangerous look comes across Brighid's face.
"But I'm getting ahead of myself. What happened between Zeus and Isis was this: The Thunderer decided to amuse himself with a bit of afternoon rape, and he went hunting in the Egyptian quarter for it. As if that were not insult enough, he decided that his plaything was going to be the Goddess Hathor, who is Isis's younger sister."
A bit of the Forgefire is returning to Brighid's gaze, and with an effort, she chokes it down again.
"Had such a thing as that happened in the Tuath, the perpetrator's clan would have been flayed, his horses slaughtered, his fields leveled, and his hall burned to the ground before such an insult could begin to be avenged. However, it is such a very... obvious insult, that it makes me suspicious. The Redheaded league can only gain power from such chaos as this, and the more hatred and discord they can stir up, the stronger they believe they will be. They are chaotics, after all, and chaos is always greedy."
She gives herself a shake, and sparks fly from her skin for a moment. Then she beckons one of the Maidens to bring her a cup.
"I cannot tell you what to expect with your friends among the Greeks. Unlike us, they can die, and remain dead. And the younger always seem to come out on the losing side whenever they go to war against themselves. I can only ask that you take care when you walk among them. I will not speak ill of those you value, but please remember that their rules are not our own -- Zeus's attack on Hathor proved that. I would not want to see you used as a pawn in their war..." A grim rumble enters her voice, "But if they do you harm, Blossom, they will see what a force of destruction this creatrix can be."

I can’t believe someone who calls himself a God would stoop so low and attempt to commit such a horrendous act regardless of how much he dislikes outsiders.
looks at Brighid for a moment as she contemplates what Clotho had told her.
Clotho mentioned that I should stay away from the redheaded Greek. I didn’t know who or what she was speaking of so I just filed that bit away. From what you tell me about what I missed that sounds like very sound advice which I intend to follow.
gives Brighid’s hand a slight squeeze as she mentions what will happen if harm was to befall her
As for my friends I don’t think if harm came to me it’d be intentional. However in light of what I know now I might keep my distance for their sakes as well as mine. I wouldn’t want them to be put in an uncomfortable position by their elders and I definitely do not want to be some twisted old man’s pawn to get his grandchildren to abide by his wishes.
Flidais’ countenance changes then, her face filling with a different kind of worry one that is normally seen by the animal inhabitants of her woods and forests whilst she is caring for those who have been hurt or abandoned. Her voice is softer when she speaks and full of concern.
How is Hathor? He didn’t harm her did he?
thinks for a moment and then looks up at Brighid
Perhaps I should just turn him and the duo of redheaded trouble into a trees for a few hundred millennia.
