Iris and Hermes arrive at the dungeons just in time to see Bia's retreating form in the distance and Hera fading from view.

"Damn...who'd she leave with anyway?" Hermes said back to Iris, shrugging. Ah, but Kratos was here...and look!

Strife! Haaha! Little Doggy is in prison! Fucker...

"Awww, look a poor little Strife...how's life behind bar's treating you, you little...freak."

Kratos turned in time to see Iris and Hermes arrive in the dungeon. That was not something that he needed. His brother was working on getting rid of Hera so he could get Strife out and now these two had to appear. Just what he needed.

"Iris, Hermes. So what do I owe the pleasure of your company?" The god of Strength would play nice. For now. But only for now. Just because they were here didn't mean he'd allow them to get in the way of his plans of freeing Strife. Hearing Hermes taunt Strife he looked over with an annoyed expression. The god really needed to lay off. Though that probably wouldn't happen any time soon. Either way he had to figure out a way to get rid of these two.

Ooo fresh meat! He never liked the idea of hurting messengers. They were usually just doing their job, but there was something about Hermes that just made him go postal, "Oh look it's Fed Ex boy again. How's life behind bars you ask? Man, I can't believe you asked that. You must be denser than I thought. Why don't you step inside and find out pretty boy? I've missed sinking my teeth into you."

Hermes hissed at Strife, anger flashing in his eyes.

"I bet you did, you nut-job." he hissed, glaring through the bar. "You just can't get enough of the blood, eh? Tell me, does it get you off? Because I'd be glad to feed you all your own damn blood..."

Too bad Strife was behind those bars. Hermes would have hit him, no...beaten him to an inch of his life...

Standing as close as he could to the bars without becoming toasted Strife, he bristled: "The blood? Oh Please! Don't flatter yourself."

Rising a brow: "You think you can? Come on--Step inside." He wiggled his finger in a come hither gesture at Hermes.

"Or are you...Chicken?"

Hermes turned to face Strife fully, and glared through the bars ( ... )

Strife smiled at the Rogue. Excitement dancing in shifty pale orbs.

Ducking the swing he took a step back, knowing that Hermes was fast and he'd have to really concentrate on his movements and at the same time preparing to enter his mind and see if he could convince him how he needed to swing his fists: "For something? Ooo. So you'll admit that I gave you something for you to owe me a debt right? I must have did a good---a better job than I thought."

Hermes stopped and glared, right ready to throw a hissy fit that would rival a stuck up princess...

"You're one cocky motherfucker, you know that?" he growled, eyes narrowing. "It would be easier on you, if you just took your beating like a man."

Hermes opted to get Strife cornered first. So he threw another punch, a left hook to be followed by a right up-cut. Let the fucker keep trying to dodge that shit.

Becoming focused on Hermes and only Hermes, anything else that was drawing from him or energizing him, anything else that could have had his attentions was put on the back burner as this task demanded all his attention. It was sometimes difficult for him being as easily distracted as he could be. The disadvantage of having a short attention span was that when you had skills they weren't always accessible because you couldn't keep yourself in check long enough to make your skills work for you. He readied himself to consume Hermes', to feed him suggestions, thoughts that would make him doubt what he should do next and Strife pushed the fear of getting hurt from his mind. Concentration was key, whether he got hit or did the hitting if he could keep it together, and only if he could keep it together and harness the energy off this fight. He could he use it to make him stronger. He took after momma in that way after all ( ... )

Iris and Kratos, had been quietly talking..catching up on the events that had happened since Iris had last seen him, when the sound of a well connected punch echoed throughout the dungeon. Turning immediately, her hand goes to her mouth at the sight before her. Hermes was in the cell with Strife!

Her immediately reaction was to ask him what in hades did he think he was doing but she clamped down on it. Although she wasn't a big fan of fighting, she didn't want to risk distracting her male counterpart. Keeping her eyes on the two in the cell, she speaks to Kratos' mind.

"I've never seen Hermes so...upset."

Upset wasn't the word she had been looking for, but right now she seemed to be a loss on how to describe Hermes' current mood.

Upset? That was a step down from the anger in Kratos' eyes. Strength was none too happy with the situation. To say that he was remotely even happy was perhaps... an understatement because he wasn't. Not in the least bit.

"Right now I don't care who's seen Hermes so upset. He does not belong in there."

"You two would do well to stop before I have to take drastic measures with you both." It was more directed at Hermes than it was at Strife since Hermes had started the whole mess.

Iris didn't like the sound of Strength's drastic measures one bit and she glanced from the cell to Kratos nervously.

"Hermes" She called out silently, preparing to expose a soft vulnerable side that few have rarely seen. After all she worked for Hera, so she had spent many long years learning how to build up the facade of cool, aloof and unaffectedness.

"Hermes...please just finish him off and get back on this side of the bars. I do not wish to see him get in a cheap shot and harm you."

Iris tugged at her lower lip with her teeth, hoping that Hermes would see her plea for what it was and not mistaken it for something else. She was concerned about his safety, no she didn't have any feelings for him but after all the centuries serving the King and Queen she had developed quite a fondness for him even if it was never admitted to anyone but herself.

Hermes backed off for a moment, looking at Kratos and Iris carefully while keeping Strife well in his line of sight. Hmph.

'You two will do well to stop..' Phft. What.Ever.

But Hermes straightened, tugging his shirt down, and smoothing out the wrinkles a bit. He cast Strife a look that spook of 'you're soooo lucky they are right there...' and then he turned his attentions to Iris, choosing to ignore Strife.

"He's already had his cheap shot. He should be hung from the towers by his heels, and made of beg and plead for a couple of centuries..." he said darkly.

Iris nodded, not questioning Hermes' statement.

"If that is the case then he will get his Hermes when the time is right. Vengence is so much sweeter if it is extracted at the right moment."

She didn't know much about extracting vengence but she thought that sounded rather good. Anything to get Hermes back on the right side of the bars, lest Hera return or worse Zeus. Iris was certain that either of the monarchs wouldn't take too kindly to Hermes beating on their prisoner..whatever the reason may be.

Kratos watched the exchange between Iris and Hermes. Oh he'd make sure that Hermes got what was coming to him because him and Iris were interfering with the plan his brother had. Funny how he considered it his brother's plan yet he was the one extracting it. Or something like that.

"Now who were you two looking for?" The god of strength asks looking between Iris and Hermes.

Dancing around the cell repeating 'float like a butterfly, sting like a bee," in his mind he was trying to keep focused here! Trying because he was going to build some power through this fight here...at least that was hopefully the plan, but then Kratos said something about stopping? His mind got off the original track and veered in another direction. Yea....Yea....That was it ( ... )
