Zelos was fuming. He'd no more taken four steps away from Pothos when he disappeared in a show is lime green lights and proved that the god was one thing, and one thing only

Hera appeared down below, drink in hand, eyeing Styx's children.
They were comely enough, she supposed, but none were married. She imagined that Kratos and Bia should have been wed long ago, but for some reason they hadn't.
It made her narrow her eyes.
"Hello, darlings," she greeted them blandly. "Nice of you to come visit, Zelos."
Her eyes went from the siblings to down toward where Strife was being held and back.
Zelos turned, adopting his usual aggrogance and moved toward Hera with a cat like grace. "I will deal with Hera..." Zelos said silently to Kratos, "When the timing is right...I will send word..">
"Hera, My Queen..." he said, taking her hand to kiss it softly as he bowed his head. "I was on my way to see you, actually. How are you fairing?"
And just for fun, He conjured up a double shot, dry martini and held it out for her.
Hera took the cocktail from Zelos with an approving nod, though her eyes were still slightly narrow.
Well. This was nice. Very nice indeed.
Which of course was completely out of character for Zelos.
"On your way to see me, darling?" she asked mildly. "How delightful."
After imperceptibly running her awareness over the drink to check it for bizarre god-affecting chemicals, spells, or the like, she took a sip of the new drink, discarding her old one to the ether.
Not bad. Not bad at all.
"I'm rather well, darling. Looking forward to some redecorating."
Another sip.
"To what could I possibly owe the honor of a visit from you, Zelos?"
What to say, what to say? Zelos had to be careful with this. On the one hand...well, he wasn't the nice sort, or the sort to make social calls...
And a Social call in the dungeons of Zeus and Hera's temple seemed rather odd to top things off. Hmmmm...
Well, there was always lying.
"Redecorating sounds like a...charming idea." Zelos said, loving closer and smiling. He dropped his voice so that only Hera and Zelos were privy to this new part of the conversation. "I've noticed the King has been long on his absence...he hasn't been...caught up in something, has he?"
There we go, Now that was a Zelos Hera should except.
Zelos was ever so glad that Hera thought the dungeon was tiresome. It made this next suggestion seem more probable.
"Agreed, My Queen." He said, smiling softly at her. "I heard there is a new line of Manolo's out at the Sak's in New York."
He gave her a sly look, "If the King isn't here to entertain you, perhaps we should take a night on the town...A few more martini's and a shopping Spree that will make Zeus wish he was around to keep you...happy...more often."
Hera took another drink at Zelos' repeated mention of Zeus. Her bastard husband was missing in action again, and Hera saw little reason to believe it was for any other reason than womanizing and faithlessness.
Something told her not to leave the dungeon alone, but then something else asked why not? Even if Kratos and Bia weren't capable of taking care of things here, why should she care if something went awry with the "prisoner?" She'd been playing guard - she, the Queen! - for this little cretin for entirely too long. And for what? A husband who hadn't even bothered to come home to keep up the pretense of having turned over a new leaf?!
Ridiculous.
"Yes," Hera replied. "A night out sounds delightful."
She finished her martini, and summoned another one immediately.

Hera wasn't born yesterday. She wasn't stupid, and she wasn't one to let emotions affect her judgment.
Emotions beside jealousy, at least.
Another long sip.
Of course, nothing in her mien beside that drink and those eyes indicated he'd struck home.
"Well, who knows, darling," she said smoothly, almost dangerously. "One never can keep track of that philandering pig man."
Hera cast her gaze at the rest of the dungeon.
There could be something afoot here. There could be. Hera was incessantly suspicious.
But she took another drink.
"This dungeon is tiresome," she noted with a mild frown.

"Let me lead the way, then." He said, taking her hand carefully in his. After all, Hera could be like a viper, and should always be handled with care.
"New York...For a bit of shopping..." and plenty of drinking.
