After her mother and sister left her home.. Lethe curled up in her big bed, and covered herself in her pristine white sheets, she closed her eyes. Sure, she felt a little better. But did that take away her loneliness? No. Oblivion felt very alone.
Was she doomed to be alone? She thought of asking Doom himself, her brother, Moros. But, no not now. Not today. She didn't feel like talking to Moros, and likely listening to him complain about Anteros. Or about Hermes.
She closed her eyes and wiped the silver tears from her cheeks. Slowly, and softly, she could hear the song of her river playing outside the walls of her home. "I can't sleep.." She whispered to her walls. And turned over on her side. Gracefully tucking the strands of her dark hair away from her eyes. Lethe sighed. She wanted company. But she didn't want to call her sister and mother back. She needed someone else.
Someone strong. Someone who could make her feel tiny and yet protected. But who to call? Who to whisper to.. She needed Strength..
