She looked at Anteros, then followed Ruina curiously. She seemed to be very excited about their trip to the Underworld. Sigyn was also excited. A trip to the Greek Underworld! How novel! She wondered what it would be like. Of course, she was aware of the Underworld back home, but she it was hard to really appreciate somewhere ruled by the offspring of her husband and his second wife but she had never been there. This was very new and usual, and she hoped that no one would mind.

Catching up to Ruina, Sigyn smiled. The girl was pure energy, and she was so charming.

"Is this where we must be to go to your Underworld?" she asked

Clotho was on her way back from Panic's house, walking slowly, rather consumed by her own thoughts as she passed through the courtyard of Neo-Olympus. Apparating was easy, but the kind of thinking one got done on a walk was hard to duplicate. Consumed by her musings, she barely noticed her surroundings until she'd somehow come to the fountain, and found herself in the presence of a tall, beautiful pale lady, and Ruina. A smile lit the Maiden's face at the sight of her niece and she said,

"Hi, Rinna! It's lovely to see you - I didn't get a chance to say hello at Mum's party-" Clotho trailed of as she belatedly sensed Anteros before actually seeing him.

Interesting day, this.

She turned to him and said in a much more subdued tone, perhaps a little stiffly, "Hello, An."

Following along behind Ruina and Sigyn he was to the point where he really wanted to pull his own hair out, one interruption after another. Enervated? No, over the brink of enervated, for he had heard his brother's warning. Now his heart leapt with more fear then he'd previously known. Panicked he trembled with the feel of cold pins and needles stinging his skin but at the same time his face appeared flush as if he were flustered about something. That something? Thanatos should have stayed and maybe he could help him make sense out of...

Oh no bother. He saw Clotho, who better then his fate could help him figure out what his brother had meant?

"Hello Cloey...nice day to receive malign tidings isn't it?"

He sounded a bit too pippy but that was because he felt like he was losing his bloody mind!

Intense and worried, "Have you the slightest idea what's big and coming fast?"

He glanced toward Sigyn and Ruina, "Sorry to disappoint you girls, but the little trip we had planned? It is on hiatus. Something...is off."

Rinna was mid-dance when the sound of her stern mother's voice called her to go to Daddy's.

She got angry. She was just about to pin Anteros down and then this?!

The water in the fountain began to boil with her waaaath.... Or.. wait.....

A shadow spider, about as large a rottweiler, was rising from the fountain. The familiar delicious smell of Underworld ash rose from its hairy body.

Rinna let out a joyful yelp and dived into the fountain with the spider.

"Benny!" she shrieked, grabbing it in both arms and hugging it tightly. It responded by biting at her. And she responded "playfully" by swiping it across the eyes with her nails. Both of them drew blood, but Rinna was the victor.

And then Terry, the little bitch that he was, chickened out.

She looked up at him, muttered something under her breath, and then huffed, "Fineeeeeeeee. Mum's calling me to Daddy's anyway."

Her arms full of Benny The Fucking Grotesque Underworld Creature, she looked up at Sigyn, beaming.

Would you like to come to my Daddy's temple with me?

The knowledge of what was occurring hit Clotho like a ton of bricks as soon as she'd pulled back from her self enough to let it fall.

Anteros sighed, the contours of his face softened by the physical contact but concerned he was and very curious as to what was happening, “Dear lord! Heavens forbid!---Not safe? Here? The Underwrold is coming up? What do you mean the Underworld is coming up?”

Confused, but thinking for his family’s safety, and for Lachesis, “Is everyone abandoning Olympus? Cloey?---Where will you be?”

Rinna eyed the freaking Anteros strangely.

So what if the Underworld was coming for a little visit? It'd be fun! Already, Benny had come up to her. See, how horrible could it be?

Benny snapped again at her, and would have taken off an arm, had she not swatted him viciously -- playfully! -- between his third and fourth eye.

"No forbidding Heavens, please," she droned out, rolling her eyes. "It's really quite nice down there. And if you ask me, this place could use a little face lift!!" She looked to Sigyn and grinned. "It should be damned fun!"

And she giggled at her own punny joke.

Auntie Cloey was going to go with them to her Daddy's! That was awesome! Maybe they could all play Pin The Scorpion on the Donkey.

Clotho took a slow breath.

"Than? You will be home then Cloey? Thanatos went to work."

He tittered at Ruina's foolishness. It was extremely difficult to ignore what Ruina had said, he wanted to lunge out at her with rebuking words and tell her that she didn't understand what this entailed! That balance would...

"I can't go...not yet. Harmonia needs to come with me..."

Ruina wrinkled her nose at Anteros when he turned back to Auntie Cloey. Foolish little erotey thingie. He had no taste. No style! No .. no... PANACHE! Hwaaaaaaa! She liked that word. It sounded like 'pancake' and her Daddy made the finest pancakes!

She eyed Cloey. She eyed Terry. She eyed Cloey... and then she slowly, slowly started sneaking off toward the Egyptian Quarter, gesturing to Sigyn to sneakily follow her!

Clotho understood. She got it.

"Phobos is with her... going to her..." she shook her head - what was now with what was imminent was getting confused. Focus. The slithering thing... the slithering thing. She looked down at it and froze it again.

The Fate saw her niece's motion out of the corner of her eye, and let Anteros go.

"Please, An - just do what you need to, but get home. I have to go with Rinna. Then... then..."

Than was working. Than was working. Ok, ok. She would go home. Chrome was coming. She would seal up her house. Yes. Maybe. First, the Egyptian quarter.

"Home," she said resolutely, her eyes reflecting only slight, slight panic. She wasn't a child. She was older than most, really. If she could play like a grown-up, she could work like one too.

"After I take Rinna, I'll go home."

Clotho looked at Anteros for a long while.

"Be safe, An. Tell Phobos... tell them all to be safe."
