Thanatos' shadow arrived back at the brownstone just before Thanatos' corporeal image had. His shadow was always either slightly ahead or behind him. It was even more of peculiarity that it was seen at all in this dimly lit space. The shadow circled the room, pacing as if it was worried, disappearing into the darkened parts of the room and

The shadow climbed up the wall and disappeared through the floor.
The front door of the brownstone creeked opened and there stood the hooded shadow, it's face completely hollow.
The shadow spoke in Thanatos' soft voice, "Can I help you?"

But what stood behind the door? That was a bit of a shock.
Sigyn stepped back in fright, a small gasp escaping from her throat as she did so. Something had answered the door, but what that something was, she didn't know.
From a mouthless hollow came a question, and she felt it only right to answer the thing, whatever it was.
"We....w-we are looking for the home of Thanatos and..Cloey?"
She looked to Ruina, who knew more about these Gods than she did.
"Isn't that right?"
Reply
Beaming, she chirped out, "You are wonderful!"
..... and then, as an after thought, "Oh, yes, yes, right! Yes, Sigyn!" And then, to the shadow, "Where do Clotho and Thanatos live?"
Reply
It then turned its hollow face in the direction of the other, and almost robotically but still in the voice of Death, "You have found the place where Thanatos and Clotho reside. Which are you looking for?"
Reply
It seemed benevolent, but quite automaton-like, though by luck it informed them that they were at the right place. What luck! And at the first house they had found!
"We are here to see Thanatos. Is he home?"
Reply
For good measure, however, she chimed in, "Yes, Thanatos! We have need of his great and wonderful powerful supreme tracking skills!"

The shadow duplicated itself and Shadow spoke with it hearing what the other said, "Go tell him he has company in need of his supreme tracking skills."
The double seeped through the floor.
There was a moment of silence before the shadow clone returned and became one with Uber Shadow, "He will see you, He is in his cellar room...Follow me."
With that the Shadow turned and glided down the hallway.

The cellar contained fewer colours, though it did have a waterfall. She looked around at the darkened room curiously as they were guided to their host.
Looking again at Ruina, Sigyn smiled warmly at their host.
"Hello...Thanatos? It is very nice to be meeting you"

He studied the ones, wondering who it was that they wanted "tracked," as his Shadow had informed him.
Glancing at the Norse, in awe that the first thing from her was a comment regarding it was nice to meet him. Him? Death? He smiled and in usual mellifluous voice, "It is nice that you think so."
He then looked at the other; he had sensed her at his mother's party. An Egyptian Greek, he only presumed would be Ruina.
"Is this an urgent matter?"
Reply
"Thanatos! I'm Ruina, and this is Sigyn, and she's new! Sigyn, meet Thanatos! Thanatos, this is Sigyn!"
She bounced on her toes.
"But urgent? Well..." She considered Strife, then she considered what he wanted her to do. "I guess he's been waiting for a while. If you have something else to do, I'm sorry that I interrupted.... It's not terribly urgent, no. Strifey sent me to you, because he said you knew where Anteros was, and I..... I have... I'm so lost here! I didn't grow up here, so... I think I've lost out on a lot of things.
"Ummmmmmm. Should we come back?"
Reply
"I might not be here the next time you come knocking."
As an afterthought he added, "It is nice to meet you both."
With a slanted brow, he anticipated the reasons why Strife would be sending Ruina to find Anteros.
"Would either of you care for a refreshment?"
Reply
But Thanatos appeared to be quite chipper for someone in his line of work, and she smiled again at him pleasantly.
"Thank you. It is nice of you to be seeing us, especially since we are not known to you"
"And yes, a drink would be lovely, if you do not mind serving us. It is very warm here, I am only now getting accustomed with it"
Sigyn smiled again at Thanatos. All of these Greeks were so very very friendly! And soon she would meet more!

"Oh, I would love something to drink!" Rinna said, turning back to Thanatos. "And thank you for seeing us! By the way, where would you be going, if you weren't here the next time we knocked?"

He quirked his head at Ruina's question, "I could be anywhere and everywhere...I am Death."
Thanatos glided above air toward his red couch and sat down, telekinetically the two vinyl chairs on each side of the couch turned toward his guests, as if too offer before he said, "Have a seat."
Using the same process, he summoned three glasses out from the cabinet shelf behind the small bar. A drawer slid open and a sterling silver tray slid out. The glasses sat themselves on the tray and filled themselves with ice...
Thanatos looked toward his company, "What would you care to drink?"

"Thank you, Ruina, but I think I speak so that you do not understand me. I am well temperatured here, but I think that your Greek pantheon is a much warmer place than mine" she said with a smile
She hoped that she had not offended lovely Ruina at all by what she had said. She did appreciate the sentiment very much, but the room was actually quite cool.
Smoothing down the back of her skirt, she sat her tall frame down and watched the god prepare drinks for them. How kind to invite them in and offer them drinks! The Greeks! So hospitable! She would have to invite some to her own home when she found the time.
"I would like some water, if that is not too much trouble for you. I am not very varied in my drinking habits, I am afraid"
"Would you like me to help you?"
