The worst is over?

So it was that Hate and Doom left the vindictive one almost as damaged as they had found him, give or take. He had earned some peace of mind regarding Phobos' well being and all it had cost him this night was a few broken bones. Sure Phobos was bound to suffer some kind of heartache along the way but Phobos was a masochist, he could deal he supposed, and at least Anteros had the assurance that he needed that Moros wouldn't keep inflicting pain and death on sweet Phobos.

However, now there was something else to plaque the erote---

Something closer...

From the dark fate's own mouth, he'd called the erote selfish for wanting to possess fate. Moros had said many hurtful things, and of course Anteros had dismissed most of what was said---But Fate should know something of fate. That hurt more the breaking of the bones in his wrist and forearm combined. It prompted the question he addressed Styx with: "This is why you fear loving him? Because it is selfish to want to possess fate?"

Styx's response? The wrong response. It left him lethally depressed. And now they were gone...

When you win, you never really win...

He held his arm against his body thinking of whether he had something to wrap it in. He supposed he could go the hospital, but what was the point? By morning it would be as good as new…

And then he suddenly noticed a cherry tree growing out in front of his window? That was very interesting. Perhaps Flidais had left it and been scared away by his company?

No, he wouldn't go to the hospital for a cast. He'd survive until morning…he had sudden plans to take some sedatives, down some wine, and climb into bed…

Off to dreamworld he would go and pray that Morpheus was over any grudgeful tantrum and give him the sweetest dreams if dreams were to come at all.

But then---

phobos, ate, anteros, lethe, lachesis
