With a grin, she materialized in California. Santa Monica, to be precise. There was some good property just recently put up for sale, and money simply wasn't an issue.
Once she purchased her little home by her little beach.... for it was HER beach now... she went about furnishing it. Everything was perfect and smooth, dangerously sophisticated.

And now, she wondered how long it would take for her new neighbor to say hello.
