Gathering (continued)

The dusk had become evening, and at Night's little get-together, any mortal servants had retired. Nymphs replaced them to begin bearing trays on which rested cups of ambrosia and nectar; there were other things to suit some of the guests more... obscure tastes. The music continued to play, representing a diverse variety of time periods and styles, though it all seemed conducive to an atmosphere of conversation, laughter, and for some, personal connection.
Nyx stood with the Erinyes, next to Philammon and Circe; Phobetor, Morpheus, Peitho and Clotho were gathered near each other, with Thanatos and Flidais not too far off - and Hope and Deimos were off in a corner somewhere, preparing to greet their hostess. Nyx smiled a bit at the company that had gathered, and at the company that was yet to come.
But Nyx was never one to fuss much over the future.
