Of PC Crashes and Writer's Blocks
I just remembered why I realized that I HAVE to have an LJ account.
Days ago, I just updated another chapter of my story, 'To Live With The Color of Pain', right after weeks of depression from my PC crash which resulted to having ALL MY DRAFTS removed, destroyed and un-recovered. It was a moment of complete depression for me, and the very fact that my months-worth of writing had gone to the technological abyss kinda made me depressed (how redundant can I still get?) and mad.
After that, I just suffered a whole case of writer's block, which I believe is understandable and which I also believe anyone could relate to.
And that was when I decided that this is no way I'll LIVE my fanfiction life. NO way. I made a promise to FINISH all my stories, so I'll do it. By hook or by crook.
So there.
So amidst all that depression, I tried reconstructing Chapter 7 of my GALS! fanfic (which turned out angstier than the original) and updated at least one of my stories. And I HAVE to have a back-up plan so that I won't suffer this same PC instance (the second already) so here goes this account as my back-up.
And maybe soon enough I'll be able to come around re-writing that ending of my FF8 story (whose original draft I so adored but is now GONE!) and also the next chapter of Cold Amber.
I reread my story, 'Chambered Roses' and realized that I need to re-write some parts. So, for those who have read that story, please be patient.
