...and so close to my birthday as well, dammit.
I am trapped in this Shadow until some tempers cool and some politics blow over back home and in order not to raise suspicion I have to enroll in something called High School with a bunch of juveniles of this Shadow. Which is stupid since I am certainly an adult and have walked the Pattern and can go wherever I want. But I promised to stay put, since nobody will find me here, or knows how to get here, so far.
It sucks to be seventeen, no matter where you are from.
