Aftermath
I am entirely certain that Father and Dworkin did not know how weirdly insane this place is when they put me here. Have they been to this Shadow anytime recently? I mean, Zombies? Really? That has got to be stranger than anything in the Courts can throw at us in Amber... Well, ok, maybe not. But still, this is one really weird Shadow to be hiding out from things in.
I think I did a pretty good job with the zombie whacking, at least I held my own and didn't disgrace the family name. But next time I want my weapons and not having to beg them off of someone... and I need to return this beautiful blade to DEATH sometime soon. Maybe when we finally get to go for drinks, which we were supposed to do this weekend, but then there were zombies. *sigh*
I think I will go see how the town fared after all this. Covered in zombie goo, no doubt. I wonder if there is anything else coming for us here... or maybe I shouldn't tempt the fates like that...
