What a wonderful story!! I loved the journey from start to finish. I was on the edge of my seat at times. This is paced so well and written beautifully. Thank goodness it had a happy ending! :) And this is totally added to my favourites list :D Please say you're working on a sequel?!!

Thank you so, so much! It makes me so happy to hear that you enjoyed the story so much (and THANK YOU for being quick with your comment, it's always so nerve-wracking to post and then wait desperately for that first feedback, haha).

And you never (or at least almost never?) have to worry about my fic having anything but a happy ending. I am way to shmoopy for anything else. :D

As for a sequel, I never say never! And it's so nice to hear that you'd want to read more about these boys. *joy*

So worth the wait! Like your "What's a Fire", I love the fairytale quality to this one and am also hoping that maddening, final paragraph is a promise for a sequel!

Absolutely perfectly done. I love the almost poetic language you used, the way they spoke so true to that fictional time period. It was beautifully done all around! I can't wait for the sequel I'm so hoping you're teasing us with. :)

Oh thank you, thank you!! I'm so thrilled the language worked for you. (One of my betas kept teasing me about it, and I was all, "NEVER! YOU WILL NEVER TAKE FROM ME MY 'AUGHT' and "NONCE'!" lol)

I am starting to realize I may have bitten off more than I can chew with that last line, but I will do my best. And thank you for wanting to read more about these characters. :) :) :)
