Moving forward's using all my breath
Urk. This has been a WEEK, I tell you. (And it's only Wednesday.) I'm mostly dashing in and out of LJ like a dashing thing, but I did want to be sure to rec a couple of things from all the lovely j2_everafter posting that's going on.

Summary: Jared's deliberate isolation is shattered when a merchant's ship crash lands on his moon. When the merchant tries to steal a flower from him, Jared demands his most prized possession in return: a 'bot that Jared himself designed many years ago. Jared gets to know the 'bot, which has not only given itself a name but become more human than Jared could have imagined. Together, Jared and Jensen will have to answer the question: what makes a person truly human?
Everybody Wants to Rule the World (PG-13) by tebtosca, based on Sky High.
Summary: Starting a specialized high school for Superhero progeny with his best friend Jensen sounds likes a blast to Jared--until he discovers that he's the only one there without any actual powers
