AO3

As if I didn't need more confirmation that I kind of suck at dealing with change.

I was planning to let all of you know that I went ahead and got an AO3 site to upload my fic, and then spent the past 10 minutes unsuccessfully trying to figure out how to link to my site over there. Why did they hide that little cut-and-paste "announcement" language on me? What is the AO3 equivalent of < lj user="" >? Stupid html. Stupid puny brain. :(

Also, is there a protocol/etiquette for answering comments over there that's different from LJ? I have to admit that, on youtube, in general I'm lame and just ignore comments (which seems to be par for the course for most youtube sites), but I don't want to piss people off in that fannish space.

In sum, it is clear to me that, if and when Livejournal eventually gives up the ghost, none of you will ever see me again, because I am obviously incapable of adapting to any other approach. Evolve or perish? I choose death (with a side of farewell cake).

lj, how do i suck? let me count the ways, idek, emo-girl needs a hug
