You should be mine across that line
A bunch of the vidders on my flist let me know that suddenly imeem has decided to dump all our videos. In four days. Permanently. Fargin' iceholes!
This was such a wonderful site for discovering and hanging out with other fandom vidders, although I didn't take advantage of that aspect as much as I should have. And, hey, I'm vain enough to admit that I'm sad to be losing all of those lovely comments viewers left for me there. (But I was getting REALLY peeved with the ads they'd throw up over everyone's vids. ANNOYING.)
On the upside, I had some fun this morning watching some of my old vids, which I never, ever do, because it just makes me insane wanting to edit the hell out of them.* Something I discovered: you know, except for the image quality, "One Thing" wasn't half bad for a first try. :)
Anyway, now I have the urge to chat about vidding. Anything you want to know about any of those old vids? Have any suggestions for future vids for me? I have a couple of vids in mind right now, but nothing I'm working on atm because I'm so sadly busy in real life. What are you working on right now? Come and tease me with it! Want to get started vidding (loony_moony? cormallen?)? I don't know how much help I can be, but I'd love to cheer you on.
