I really didn't expect this to be quite so long.

Here's a timestamp fic, written for dreamincolor, who requested something a few years after Small SpacesSmall Spaces was a little under 1400 words. This is over 3500 ( Read more... )

That was wonderful, poignant, beautifully written, and verging on the surreal at times in a very Buffyverse way.

Lovely. Poor Dawn - having read small Spaces too I can totally understand why she retreated under her table. Good to think, in a way, that someone missed poor Wesley, too.

Utterly beautiful.

I loved all the fill-in backstory, Wesley visiting after Buffy's death and crawling under the table with her, Dawn's vigil for Wes, and finally, Buffy crawling under there with her.

Wonderfully, beautifully done.

Oh, god. That was so wonderfully sad and beautiful and touching. You made me start crying and everything.

I love how you turned your first cute little adorable story into something incredibly angsty and deep. I love, like, everything about this - the details and all the sitting under tables and the characterizations and the funky out-of-order flash backs.

Great great great job!

Oh, this was fabulous. I loved the backstory of Wes coming and comforting Dawn after Buffy's death, and Dawn doing it now for Wesley - of course this is how she'd remember him. I love all the bits of Spike&Dawn. Just an amazing character study all around - bravo!
